Privacy

This page describes the information involved when you use Dugout Decisions.

Game data stored on your device

You do not need an account or need to provide an email address to play. The game saves your win–loss record in local storage in the browser you are using. It is not linked to your identity or synced to another device. Clearing this site’s browser storage may remove the record.

As currently implemented, game choices, lineups, and results are handled in your browser and are not sent to a Dugout Decisions game account or gameplay server.

Services used by the site

  • Replit hosting: The site is hosted on Replit. The hosting platform may process technical request information to deliver and secure the site; its own privacy practices apply.
  • Fonts: The site’s fonts are hosted with the site. Your browser does not need to contact Google Fonts to display them.
  • Venmo: If you choose the tip link, you leave this site for Venmo. Venmo handles information about that visit or payment under its own privacy terms.

Questions or requests

Since the game record is stored in your browser, you can remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage. For privacy questions, contact Clifford Pate at cliffordpate@gmail.com.

Updates

If the app’s data practices change, this page will be updated to describe the new practices.
